Global Village Trip in the Planning

The public is invited to attend an informational meeting about a future Habitat for Humanity Global Village trip in early 2014. To find out when and where the next meeting is, please call Maggie Monroe-Cassel at 978.348.2749 x 206.

This is a trip open solely to residents of the twenty-five towns serviced by Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts or volunteers, donors and related families.  The trip is planned for the week of President's Day 2014 and we will be travelling to the highlands area of Guatemala to build Habitat homes there with local indigenous families.  The week is comprised of 4-5 days of working on a Habitat site and several days of touring and cultural experiences.  All expenses are the responsibility of the person travelling with the group.  Expenses include airfare, room and board and a donation to the local Habitat affiliate.  A portion of the expenses may be tax-deductible.
