Meet our new homeowners!

Colleen Anderson and her sons, Christopher, Matthew and Justin are the newest members of the HFHNCM family, selected for the house being built on Old Bolton Road in Hudson.

Colleen grew up in Hudson and has many relatives and friends in the area who have supported her through the selection process. They will continue to provide assistance as she tackles her “sweat equity” requirement – putting in 300 hours of labor on her new home.

Groundbreaking – April 28, 2010

Local dignitaries, donors, volunteers and well-wishers came out to celebrate groundbreaking at the site of our newest home in Hudson. Smiles and a few tears showed how much the occasion meant to those attending.

A lot of hard work goes into building a Habitat home. 80% of the work is done before the first shovel hits the dirt but volunteers like these in Hudson will tell you that it’s all worthwhile!

Hudson Build Information

Individual volunteers and groups from area corporations have been working hard at our site on Old Bolton Road and doing a great job.

Construction experience is not required to work with Habitat. We’ll provide the tools and expertise; you provide the heart and muscle!  To register and volunteer, click here

Local Partner Committees

Local Partner Committees bring together volunteers who work to obtain a building site for a Habitat house, raise awareness and support for a Habitat project in their town, and raise the funds to build the Habitat house. If you have interest or experience in construction, PR, community outreach or fund raising, we can use your expertise and energies as a Hudson volunteer.
